Hamentashen

This is a simple twist on making Hamentashen

My best hamentashen recipe:

4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tbs vanilla sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup oil
1/2 cup cream cheese (or tofu parev cream cheese)
5 1/2 plus cups flour

Whip everything except flour.

Add flour slowly as needed.

Refrigerate 10 minutes.

Bake on 350′ till light brown.

Freezes well. Enjoy!

About Eve Levy

Hi! My name is Eve Levy.

My Jewish journey has taken me to live in some of the most beautiful cities in the world: Montreal, Calgary, Toronto, Jerusalem, Denver, and now Portland, Oregon.

My passion is helping Jewish women find their unique light, connect to their Judaism in a way that is meaningful to them, and to help guide women along their spiritual journeys.

I get my inspiration from the hundreds of women whom I'm privileged to work with. Taking women to Israel to share my love of the land and of the Jewish people is my favorite work and I have been a city leader on the JWRP trips since 2010.

Most recently I've created and lead powerful women's trips called The Poland-Israel Journey, which is very dear to my soul, being a granddaughter of 4 Holocaust survivors.

When I'm not running inspirational programs, trips or retreats, I am either enjoying family time with my husband and 6 children, blogging, dancing, or baking challah.
